Trust the Mask (aka Elisa Dal Bianco and Vittoria Cavedon) are back yet again with their third vibrant and intriguing single – ‘Our Fault’.
‘Our Fault’ offers a letter of apology to Mother Earth, taking responsibility for the damage caused by humans whilst also recognizing the importance of hope within the climate action movement. Taken from their upcoming debut album Idiom which represents an ethereal journey in the search for a universal language.
Yet another deep dive into their unique, utterly exquisite exploration of the electronic synth-sphere, they demonstrate an innate ability to blend cyber, glitch, wave and industrial styles into a new plane of existence.
Layered with experimentation and concise, creative chaos, Trust the Mask epitomize the allure of the alien and the avant-garde with perfect precision. Bold, unconventional and entirely otherworldly Idiom is set to invigorate the senses and spark the imagination on an astral level.
“Trust the Mask are seeking connection. Connection to the world amidst an increasingly fractured global environment. ‘Our Fault’ is a letter of apology to Mother Earth. Written during the lockdown, when it seemed pretty clear that Nature was sending us a terrible message after centuries of abuse. A song that began by experimenting with arpeggios on a vintage accordion to which analog synths, virtual pipe organs and layers of choral samples were added. It is again Vittoria’s amazing voice that guides the narrative as a conscience that reminds us of all the mistakes humanity has made.” – TRUST THE MASK
