Juliana Riccardi’s latest single, “Off The Map” is a soulful tune that unleashes the need to reconnect with the world around us amongst the hustle and bustle of everyday life.

Blending her quintessential Americana sound with comforting, folky rhythms and the uplifting melody of percussions and guitar, Riccardi creates a cocoon of homey sounds – infusing the song with a delicate nostalgia for the simple elements of life and the knowledge that these pleasures are just around the corner when we decide to look for them. In a world harboring constant change, uncertainty, and the pressures of always living up to expectations, these gestures reclaim the importance of remaining connected to ourselves, our passions, and our environment.

“I used to run in thunderstorms with my sister as a kid. We felt alive and genuinely happy to be outside – even in the rain. Today, we’re too busy to go for a walk! In my (conscious) adult life, it’s become a commitment of mine to tune out the noise and go within and go outside.”  – Juliana Riccardi

For Juliana Riccardi, going back and reconnecting with moments such as walking in the rain, and being surrounded by nature’s sounds and spectacles, become moments to unplug – not only from the near-constant stream of technology but also as a way to find calmness and clarity, away from anxieties.

“Right On Time” is the second half of Juliana Riccardi’s The Nashville Session, a project recorded across an eye-opening, three-day trip bustling with creativity which gave her a groundbreaking studio performance. In what she defines as a ‘perfect mixture of risk and preparation,’ Riccardi reflects that “Nashville was new to me, but I had a feeling of home there during those three days. It was a big risk going there with all the ‘firsts’ happening at once, but they aligned.” The track is co-produced and mixed by Nick Bullock, mixed by Grammy Award-winning Will Hensley and features Lauren Stockner on bass.

Infused with the same sense of relief as a deep breath of fresh air, “Off The Map” comes momentarily to remind listeners to ground themselves back into a state of joy and fulfillment.
