Trinity Bliss is a rising singer-songwriter and actress from the West Coast. At only 13 years old Trinity has amassed over 60k streams on her Spotify profile alone. ‘California Sun’ is her latest track, with a dreamy vocal intertwined with a building melody in the first verse. It truly transports you to a summer evening around a campfire.
Alongside her musical career, Trinity is an actress who stars in HBO Max’s ‘The Garcias’, Apple TV+’s ‘Best Foot Forward’, and the forthcoming Hollywood blockbuster ‘Avatar: The Way of Water’ – the first sequel to the biggest movie of all time. She also has a rapidly growing TikTok channel where she releases videos of covers of her favorite tracks.
What first got you into music?
Growing up I always had music around me. Both my brothers played music every day so there’d always be the sound of piano, saxophone, or another instrument drifting throughout the house! That made me also want to have piano lessons and give music a try!
Who inspired you to make music?
Myself hehe😛! I guess when I’d be playing classical piano my fingers would start to go off and do their own thing and I’d just start to sing with it. Or I’d pick up my brother’s guitar and start to strum and sing away my thoughts! I started to document it and make recordings on my mom’s phone. I’d sometimes go back when I liked something and eventually, those somethings became..(drumroll please!)…songs!
How would you describe the music that you typically create?
Hmm..pop driven, laurel canyon/malibu vibes?
What is your creative process like?
I feel like every song comes a little differently and almost has a different process and journey! My process is usually, getting the idea, then recording it in voice memos, and then using notes to go through and edit! Songwriting is really funny, in the way that you can spend 2-3 hours staring out into space or at your notes and thinking so hard, nothing seems to work….then in the last ten minutes, lightning strikes and the pre-chorus just writes itself!

What are your ambitions as a songwriter and musician from here?
The fact that I get to share my songs with you all, wear my heart and soul and you listen…that’s been my dream forever!
It might be dangerous to dream but I do. I’m a hopeless romantic and a dreamer!
I dream of one day performing for you all and touring!…My biggest dream is for my songs to connect to you all. For you to say “I’m going through that now!” or “that’s exactly how I feel.”!
‘California Sun’ is a love letter to the state of California and its sunlight which represents life, love and loss. Trinity wrote this track about growing up and explains “The morning sun on my face feels like childhood. No anxiety, just freedom and innocence! Every day I get older yet the sun feels the same. I wrote this song about trying to get back to that perfect state of childhood but as your older self…“
“This song went through so many changes, like it was constantly growing with me. I didn’t come back to it for nearly a year – I thought I’d outgrown it. But then I realised I needed it. When I got back to working on it, it quickly became my anthem for childhood!“
