Nashville, Tenn. (May 8th, 2020) – Exclusively premiered via BabyTalkTV, two-time Billboard charting singer/songwriter Cassandra Kubinski and voiceover mega-talent Tony Daniels share the special music video for Welcome to the World, from their EP DREAMS. The music video is a time-lapse capturing of Hudson Valley illustrator Julia Green’s whimsical drawings of scenes described in the song.
“I wrote this song for my niece, Charlotte, when she was born,” says Kubinski, “but I quickly realized that I am not at all alone in feeling the magic and wonder we all feel when we behold a brand new life, especially a baby girl!”
Welcome to the World was first released as part of Kubinski and Daniels’ co-written and co-produced EP, Dreams, in October 2019 through ONErpm on all digital retailers. The title track “Dreams” has already been released as a single, accompanied by a lyric video entirely hand-drawn in chalk. Welcome to the World continues the pattern of whimsical, earthy graphics accompanying Daniels’ quirky pop productions. The song’s production features a percussion section built by tapping the back of a guitar, punctuated by toy piano, real piano, gentle guitars and Kubinski’s layered, soothing vocals welcoming a new baby to the world.
Kubinski and Daniels’ last single release from EP Dreams was You Get Me, which has become the poster song for pet rescue and adoption, helping raise over $25,000 through sales and events for groups such as the Humane Society of NY, Helping Lost Pets, Howl of a Dog, and It’s A Ruff Life Rescue. You Get Me featured a video featuring stars such as Adrian Grenier, Jam Murphy, Karim Anderson (“The Poetic Chef”), and doggie influencers such as Agador (@poochofnyc) and Charlie and Sawyer (@puppynamedcharlie). Kubinski and Daniels plan to continue to donate sales of You Get Me to pet rescue groups via its inclusion on Dreams, and further partnerships.
Kubinski previously experienced worldwide success with Not So Different, and Autism anthem written at the request of a friend with two sons on the spectrum. Not So Different became a crowdfunded music video featuring Real Housewives of NJ housewife Jac Laurita, NY1 anchor Cheryl Wills, and other NYC local celebs, which has been viewed 97,000+ times on Youtube. Kubinski subsequently re-recorded and released the song with the Goo Goo Dolls and Mary Ramsey of 10,000 Maniacs, with sales supporting the Institute for Autism Research at Canisius College. The launch concert for the song raised $30,000 for the Institute in Buffalo, NY.
