If you are a nurse or have a similarly stressful job, you might find it difficult to unwind after work. But on the rare occasions, you have the chance to relax, you might want to watch a movie. There are many titles and it could be very difficult to pick.

However, the right movie to interest you might just depend on the type of day you are having. Pay attention to your mood because this could determine more than anything what movie you watch. If you are in a sad mood, for example, the best film could be a comedy.

Maybe you are a big fan of the actor Owen Wilson. There are a ton of Owen Wilson films out there, whether you enjoy Bottle Rocket or Wedding Crashers. Watching these movies can be a lot of fun. The antics of the characters can take you out of yourself. You can forget about all the troubles in your own life and can instead focus on the problems of your favorite characters. You won’t be going to a gay drug rehab anytime soon. Or, to correspond with your mood or interest, you might be less interested in the wacky antics of your favorite comedic characters and are more fascinated by the dynamic struggles of someone like Tom Hanks.

Sometimes people forget that Hanks began his acting career in comedies such as Turner and Hooch and Big. The world of comedy was where he started, but he eventually moved to dramas such as Philadelphia, Cast Away, and Captain Phillips. Should you be looking to explore the human drama within someone’s life, this could be the element you need. Someone like Hanks or the actor Geoffrey Rush could make this drama very real. You could begin to learn more about yourself through understanding the characters’ sacrifices, setbacks, and triumphs. You may not need a gay drug rehab if you aren’t struggling with substance abuse. Just as the experiences help the characters learn more about themselves, so you may be able to do the same.

And in the end, you may not be interested in either and might consider different films altogether. You might consider yourself to be a film buff and find Asian cinema or other genres, such as horror, to be more your thing. Sometimes, you could have trouble selecting a movie because you are tired and exhausted from work. Making a great effort to choose a film should not be an extra chore you have to do. Merely relax. And look for what you think is the movie you will enjoy most.
