Wild The Coyote has released his latest alt-country rock video for his single “Silver Round Bullet.” The song itself carries a unique grit and grind that gives Wild The Coyote his signature sound and the music video has a Californian-Cowboy style. The impact of both the song and video leaves the audience with an epic feeling, similar to that of watching a movie trailer in theaters. Wild The Coyote’s essence in “Silver Round Bullet” is one of mystery, intrigue, and intrepidity, which was the initial vision for the video. “We wanted to match the grit and aggression of the song and its ability to feel nostalgic and modern,” Wild The Coyote explains.
While shooting the video, Wild The Coyote and director Bryant Hyun had the opportunity to shoot both digitally and on 16mm film. “I’ve been a fan and friend of Director Bryant Hyun since we met on set at a Yelawolf shoot in 2020, so when he asked to collaborate on a visual project I jumped all over it,” says Wild The Coyote. “When “Silver Round Bullet” was decided as the first single from the album I knew Bryant had the vision for the music video.” When watching the video, this combination of digital and film displays the essence of a tough modern man (tattoos, jewelry, attire, etc…) with a vintage personality and yearning for nostalgia (vintage car, 16mm film, vintage fashion). Ultimately, “Silver Round Bullet” is the perfect song for working out, speeding down the interstate, or slow-motion walking away from an explosion with sunglasses on. What more could you need?
