Dallas rockers The Dirty Shirts are simultaneously ready to tear up the dance floor and the mosh pit with their new track, “HEART ATTACK.”

Their latest song is about a toxic relationship that the narrator knows is bad for them, but they can’t stop. This theme can be applied to any relationship or addiction but puts the commentary in the context of a relationship that’s so good that you can’t quit.

“We put a lot of intention in creating a sound in the studio that supported and enhanced the story being told, and hopefully, that helps people grab onto it more. Ultimately, we just want people to turn this up as loud as they can stand it and dance.” – Nick Santa Maria.

The electric glam-rock single gets you dancing on your feet, and it is perfect to jam in your car with your friends on a Friday or Saturday night. The track was produced by Jeff Saenz (Leon Bridges, Reverend Horton Heat, Nikki Lane), engineered by Joel Raif, and recorded at Modern Electric Sound Recorders in Dallas, Texas. As you are listening to “HEART ATTACK,” it takes you on a rollercoaster of different emotions as you hear the song. It will make your adrenaline rush with excitement as you hear the guitar’s electrifying riffs and the drums’ thrashing. The rhythm also takes you on a journey as it starts on the slow side and eventually builds up, which is sure to get people out on the dance floor. If you enjoy pop-dance songs, “HEART ATTACK” is definitely a song to add to your playlist.

The Dirty Shirts will be debuting the single at their multiple showcases at SXSW. Visit The Dirty Shirts’ website or follow them on Instagram and stream “HEART ATTACK” below.
