“It’s clear to see that David has both beautiful musicality and an incredible eye for creative and emotive visuals.” – CelebMix

London based singer-songwriter David Mark Bulley has released the visual for his latest track, ‘Where Do We Go From Here’.

Inspired by the Purge films, the visual was filmed by Thompson Cinematics in West London and features a cast of 35 actors taken from the London College of Music. Co-directed by David and Robert Oliver West, the visual was released on March 1 and has since garnered over 50,000 views. The action-packed mini-movie sees David and his friends trying to escape from the purge which has reached the UK. As the visual progresses, David comes to realize that you cannot always trust those closest to you. Will he survive? You’ll have to watch until the end to find out!

We caught up with David and asked him a few questions about himself and his music. Of course, we asked the silly questions first and the more serious ones afterwards…

So, David, we are thrilled to welcome you to Divine Magazine. We hope you don’t mind a bit of frivolity before we get down to the gritty stuff.

I’m going to be different and say butterscotch…. ABSOLUTE DREAM!

What historical Figure would you love to see in 21st century life?

Honestly…. Tutankhamun …. I’m obsessed with Egypt!

If you could change anything about yourself what would it be?

Not to OVERTHINK THINGS! UGH, IT’S MY WORST TRAIT!

What’s your favourite animated or cartoon program?

Hands down Tom & Jerry!

If you were a member of the spice girls, what would your spice handle be?

Oh wow…. I guess it would be Sassy Spice…. People say I’m sassy on stage… I personally don’t see it! 😉

David, you’ve been writing and singing from a young age. As with all creative people, we imagine life has shaped your lyrics and your philosophies. Tell us a bit about how you came to write the songs you do.

I write them all about personal stories or struggles I’ve gone through. I want my music to be truthful and from the heart.

You’ve been touring support for people like Tom Mann and Joey Devries. Is there any one artist you’d dearly love to be with on stage, as support or even in a duet?

ADELE! Or DEMI LOVATO. I’m completely obsessed.

You have a new album due out in summer, are currently touring with Sylvia Przybysz, get your own headline tour later in the year and we understand you’re going to the Philippines to write music. How do you find the time to do all this and deal with the fast pace- what’s a typical day in the life of David Mark Bulley like?

Honestly, I’m just riding the wave. I’m completely grateful for the opportunities and don’t take a moment for granted! A day in the life of David Mark Bulley consists of at least 1 power nap a day and lots of food consumption!

How do you like to relax, do you have any hobbies or sports you partake in to take your mind off the music industry?

I’ve actually just started yoga… It’s so relaxing. I also love to travel and just switch off from time to time.

Thanks so much for answering all our questions, David. It’s been a pleasure having you here at Divine Magazine.
