Youth indie-rock band, Rooted, has released their new single “Dime a Dozen” which you won’t want to miss. “It seems like every day we face new problems, drama and even conflict in our lives. If we let all the negativity get to us it can really weigh anyone down and lead to a state of anxiety and depression,” says Shalom Maddox Lim, Rooted’s singer-songwriter.
“‘Dime a Dozen’ is about letting those problems go and freeing and distancing ourselves and choosing to stay positive and hopeful instead,” Lim further explains. When becoming overwhelmed with what life throws at us, this heartfelt melody can put us back on track. The soft vocals combined with calm instrumentals create a sense of hopefulness to bring meaning to the track.
