Perpetual Party is “a celebration of desire and nostalgia, of longing for and dreaming of The Good Times.”
Lavelle is set to open for Saint Sister on their UK/Ireland Autumn Tour.
‘Craving.. a warm bath, a cold pint, a good laugh.’
Optimistic and hopelessly romantic in the pursuit of intimacy.
‘Will we meet by fate? On a plane, on a train, some kind of neat meet-cute?’
Dark minimal beats merging with brooding spacious vocals see Lavelle debut her unique genre-spanning sound that is at once gothic and euphoric.
On creating the track, Lavelle said:
“I began to use my voice in different ways, singing in registers that I speak in and embodying a sense of freedom in timing and shaping. This formed the production which is centred around the voice and it’s interaction with technology. Technology allows the voice to extend, travel and create textures that wouldn’t otherwise be realised.”
Lavelle has carved out a niche following in the Irish music scene and performed alongside a plethora of Irish and International acts including Jacob Collier, Balthazar, Moxie and Saint Sister.
