A well-planned-out Eurotrip works wonders for all kinds of travelers, whether you are going solo, having a family or a group vacation, or, of course, a couples’ retreat. Speaking of, there are more than enough stunning locations perfect for newlyweds, first-time travelers, or couples who are looking to renew their wows.

While the whole of Europe is one romantic getaway, you should know of some of the best destinations that will definitely have you falling in love all over again. Whether with each other or the city itself! So, keep on reading for the most beautiful and exclusive European locations for couples.

Seville, Spain

At number one, we have one of the most beautiful destinations in Spain. While the country is not as famously romantic as, let’s say, Paris, we have to disagree! What about all of those dramatic and passionate Spanish TV shows, right?

Jokes aside, Seville is perfect if you and your partner wish to experience authentic Spain. We may even love it a little more than the capital city, and even if you are residing in Madrid originally, make sure you have a couple of days here, then simply take the Seville to Madrid train back.

Apart from impeccable cuisine and wondrous natural sights, the community has some long-standing Spanish traditions, ones you might enjoy doing together. For example, if both you and your significant other are into active leisure and like a good rush of adrenaline, try to catch a Bullfighting show, something Seville is highly known for.

However, if you want to spend your holiday relaxing, head for a night stroll or take a thorough walk around the Santa Cruz neighborhood – the most picturesque part of Seville. To ignite some passion, look for a Flamenco show!

Budapest, Hungary

Once again, not such an obvious choice, Budapest might surprise you by being perfectly romantic and enjoyable!

While people tend to choose the south for honeymoons and whatnot, Central Europe and its cultural as well as historical heritage make for the perfect setting. If you like exploring and touring, Budapest has plenty to offer.

Take some guided tours to the Parliament Building, the Buda Castle, or St. Stephen’s Basilica. These will leave your inner history buff satisfied and happy, shaping your romantic trip into an educational vacation as well.

However, Hungarians say that you can only see Budapest’s true magic at night, and we could not agree more. A late-night walk is an absolute must! Pick a warm evening and head to the city center, near the Buda Castle and the Parliament, where you can see Hungary’s most prominent monuments illuminated, creating the perfect background for a movie-worth amorous scene.

Vienna, Austria

While we are still on a roll with Central Europe, might as well take the Budapest to Vienna train and keep on exploring.

While the city lacks a certain late-night buzz you might be craving for some good fun with your loved one, Vienna is perfect if you would like some culture inserted into your trip. A sophisticated holiday, if you will!

While a bit quieter and more reserved, Vienna is equally as exciting. Learn more about its history and background by visiting such sites as the famous Schonbrunn Palace and its romantic designs, Hofburg Palace for some essential facts on Austrian history, and a long walk through Vienna’s Old Town.

Deemed one of the loveliest cityscapes in Europe, Vienna is an ideal location if you like sharing special yet quaint moments with your loved one. Nothing stirs the heart as much as a slow stroll through the most charming neighborhoods and romantic city lights.

However, your experience must culminate at the Vienna State Opera House. And we do not mean a tour; try to catch a show, as well. Why not dress up and find passion in the form of art?

Paris, France

Well, probably no romantic vacation list can go on without Paris, right? Quite a well-deserved label, as well.

Many see Paris as the cliche honeymoon destination, a stereotypical city with no charm left, but they could not be further from the truth! Yes, France remains at the top of the most visited countries in Europe, by couples or otherwise, but there is plenty to back that up.

Do not hesitate to book a lift up the Eiffel Tower and overlook the whole Parisian panorama! We suggest doing that later in the evening, though, as everything lights up in a magical way. While you are at it, jump on a cruise as well. La Senna boat tour takes you through the most significant parts of Paris, crosses over twenty bridges, and gives you a whole different point of view of the most gorgeous city in Europe.

If you like going on dates, we suggest thinking outside of the box, packing a small picnic, and settling on the bank of La Senna. There are plenty of lovely and safe nooks for you to have some wine and bread, with views of the Eiffel Tower, Notre Dame de Paris, and so many more on display!

Rome, Italy

Lastly, let’s visit Italy. Nothing quite tells the tail of passion and romance as well as Italians, right?

Rome is an incredible destination if you are looking for an aesthetic holiday that can offer you a vast historical background at the same time. More often than you would think, couples travel to Italy strictly for some photoshoots, and while that seems a bit time-consuming, the camera really loves Italy, so have your lenses ready!

Naturally, you should visit the Colosseum and the Roman Forum to catch up with the most significant sites of Roman heritage. That includes booking some tours in between your romantic time of just walking around the city, so make sure you take care of it beforehand.

For some one-on-one time, pick a local or a 5-star restaurant and share a meal in the candlelight. Remember the Lady and the Tramp? Obviously, sharing pasta can be pretty idyllic for a couple, and pair that with Italian wine? You have yourself a recipe for love!

To ensure your fairytale ending, make sure to visit the famous Trevi Fountain to admire some gorgeous Baroque facades and throw a coin into the water. If you wish for your love to last forever, a Euro in the Trevi Fountain takes you halfway there. No, really!

Enjoy these wondrous European cities and renew your love. With plenty of romantic, exciting, and wholesome activities and sites to visit, the region remains at the top among the most gorgeous places to celebrate your relationship. So, keep on planning with the help of our list and have the most amorous trip ever. Love, forever!
