The gorgeous video perfectly captures the essence of meeting your soulmate and feeling that connection instantaneously. Directed by Erick Turcios the neon-hued visual follows two strangers at a laundromat as they fall in love to the sound of the spin cycle. The ambient encounter is paired with celestial-like imagery of our narrator, Nolo Grace–an apt representation of her inner transformation through love and music.
“Don’t Wanna Go Home” symbolizes the start of a new stage of life for Nolo Grace, whose personal journey was filled with dark memories of growing up the child of two conservative Korean parents who spoke very little English and held her to high standards.
