London’s Latir treats listeners to the perfect Valentine’s listen via the swoon-worthy ‘Blue Roses’, written and produced alongside Calper and further brought to life with daydream visuals.
The track itself blends Latir’s old school jazz inspired melodies and storytelling with new age RnB synth rhythms. The result strikes somewhere between melancholic and inspiring.
In Latir’s own words:
“I wrote this song about having an intensely beautiful moment with a lover whilst far from home, then having to suddenly leave them behind at the apex of it all… that feeling when you’ve had something perfect taken away from you by circumstance!”
