The film features a new song of the same name, and stars LA KROQ radio legend Rodney Bingenheimer on a quest for a muffin. Muffins is the follow-up to THEM GUNS’ single, “Horoscope” which was released in May, and “Somebody Called the Cops” which debuted shortly before their SXSW performance in March, 2016.
“It was so fun working with Them Guns and director Paul Boyd! Them Guns is one of my favorite bands I play on my show!”
Rodney On The ROQ
KROQ Radio Los Angeles
Rodney Bingenheimer is a long-standing staple of the Los Angeles rock scene, and is know for being the first American D.J. to identify new artists and play “edgy new bands” such as Blondie, the Ramones, the Sex Pistols, Guns N’ Roses, Duran Duran, The Cure, Joan Jett, Hole, No Doubt, Blur, Nirvana, Sonic Youth, The Bangles, and X among many others.
In addition to Bingenheimer and the band themselves, Muffins features cameos from Priscilla Presley, Riley Keough (The Girlfriend Experience, Mad Max – Fury Road, The Runaways, etc.), Kansas Bowling & Parker Love Bowling (Troma Films’ BC Butcher), Bella (Canter’s legendary hostess) and Christopher Ameruoso (celebrity photographer, musician and author of the photo books ‘Shades Of Elvis,’ ‘The Osbournes,’ etc.), as well as notable L.A. locations such as Canter’s Deli.
“This video turned out to be a lot of fun to shoot. Random friends just kept on showin’ up for a bite of Rodney’s muffin… of gold… it’s a little bit of an inside joke… but we invite everyone to be a part of it.”
– Navarone Garibaldi
Frontman, Them Guns
“Navarone is truly talented! Them Guns are the future of rock and I’m honored to be a part of their video!”

ABOUT THEM GUNS:
THEM GUNS was formed in 2013 by frontman Navarone Garibaldi and keyboardist Kyle Hamood in Santa Cruz, CA. Nav met drummer Chris Hudson while attending high school in Los Angeles, who years later joined the group. Chris and bassist Chuck Holiday were the rhythm section of a previous band and the pieces all came together after the rhythm section was complete.
In April 2015, the independent film Shut Up and Drive, starring Sarah Sutherland (daughter of Kiefer Sutherland), made its debut at the Tribeca Film Festival. The movie’s soundtrack features three of THEM GUNS’ songs – “Close Your Eyes”, “Devil’s Eye” and “Heard It All Before”.
Them Guns continues to release new music on a regular basis in 2016. Check out the band’s official video for their hit single “Somebody Called the Cops” here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Tfkfp1KkkhY
