What is your creative process like?

I usually use some emotion to start connecting with my music or a melody. I’m not the type of person who has a really strict routine to create. I’m more of feeling inspired by something or someone and then I let everything out. My songs are not stories, are more like how I feel or think at the moment and I love it because is kind of like telling a dream, sometimes is really abstract and sometimes you can see it very clearly.

What is the best advice you’ve been given?

A friend once told me something that a Kool and the gang member told him as advice for composing and I always remember it: “don’t be afraid of a cliche”. I think that is amazing. Sometimes you got stuck trying not to be predictable, not to do something simple, or escape from the clichés. I think that phrase talks about not being afraid of doing what you want and what you feel, don’t try to change it only because it’s simple. You have to do what you want, what makes sense for you even if it’s cliche. And also, cliches exist for a reason and we love them.

If you could change anything about the industry, what would it be?

I really don’t like the way the music industry is working right now. It’s all about plays and views and followers and not about the actual music. If you have an amazing video and a lot of money you’ll get probably succeed, but if you don’t is going to be a lot harder. And I talk from experience. Everything’s about de money now, not about the art and I dream it changes.

What can we expect from you within the next 6 months? Are any releases planned? Future gigs?

Right now I’m really excited because I’m working on an EP. I’m already in the production process of the first single of this EP and I’ll be releasing these songs very soon. I will also make the videos and all the art designs for this project which I really love doing.

Do you enjoy recording and production?

It’s actually one of my favorite parts of making music. The time in the studio is magical and the music production is what makes my vibe. I’ll be doing a course in Barcelona in technical music production and I’m really excited. I already produce my own music and others, but this is a more technical approach since I wanna be a producer and have my studio very soon. So yeah, the studio is my happy place.

Do you sing in the shower? What songs?

I think that song is definitely some random song I used to love when I was a child. And of course one of the JLo many hits.

What would be the ideal food to have cooked for you on a date night?

Italian, of course. Always Italian food.

Which are cooler? Dinosaurs or Dragons?

Dragons for me

Do you shout out the answers at the TV whilst watching quiz shows?

Of course! Who doesn’t?

If you were talking to a younger version of you, what advice would you give yourself?

Always listen to yourself and don’t let other people decide for you. If you like it, do it and fight for it.

Who inspired you to make music?

My grandmother has always been an important driving force in my musical career and also as a person. She is a singer who couldn’t dedicate herself to music and now I do it for myself and for her too.

What about your music is rebellious, unconventional, or unusual?

I think it’s a bit more rebellious

I try to make music that I like and that I can enjoy, without thinking too much about whether it is the same as what everyone else does or not, or if it sounds very commercial, I really dedicate myself to enjoying the process.

What does your music say about you?

My music talks about who I am, how I am today and what I want to deliver as an artist, which is just love, reflection and having fun. I try to give a message of hope with my music and not just make empty meaningless lyrics.

Where was your last song recorded?

Barcelona, Spain.

What is your creative process like?

I like to start by imagining melodies and then think about the lyrics. I think music is a lot of feeling, and I try to go more on that side.

With the pandemic, how have you found a way to get your music and your message out there?

At first, I was a little withdrawn from the whole issue of the pandemic, but it was something that made me explore my musical side even more, so I got the most positive out of those years. It helped me to mature not only as an artist but as a person.

Are you a valuable asset on a Pub Quiz team?

No, I’m very bad at those kinds of games.

If you were talking to a younger version of you, what advice would you give yourself?

You will never be as ready as you want. Do it now and prepare yourself on the way, the perfect moment never comes.

What would you bring along to an idyllic picnic?

A joint, water and fruits.

What would be the ideal food to have cooked for you on a date night?

Pizza

The artist with residence in Spain and the musician located in England, featuring for the first time a song that celebrates daily love and positivity. Petric and Richter were inspired by their stories inviting us to dance, making us remember the most important: love is love, it is lightning and healing.

A dance melody produced by Petric, that gained its upbeat style fromRené Roco, in which the artists seek to convey more positive feelings about romanticism. ‘Bringing along more awareness to our LGBT+ community, we want to leave a message with our music. In this single we have decided it would be about love, intimacy, affection, understanding that we live in a complex society that most of the time we don’t allow us to love and be ourselves; society of which we were victims’, they have said.

‘If there is someone that is suffering, dealing with hate, abuse and fear, we would like them to listen to this song, understand the message, watch the video and feel a glimpse of hope, peace and affection. You are not alone, there is an enormous force that is with you’.

‘One More Night’ video clip was recorded with a hi8 camera, directed by Martina Petric. It shows daily lives of LGBT+ couples bringing us closer to the intimacy and home feeling in a potent and exciting way.

‘We expect that people will dance, sing and dedicate this song’. ‘One More Night’ the desire to repeat what makes us feel good every single night.
