Smooth Jazz/R&B French-born singer and songwriter Aneessa continue to evolve as a musical artist. Her latest single unveils the passion and love for music which has become the center of her life’s story.

Tell us a bit about your company and why you do what you do.
I am a Smooth Jazz/R&B French-born singer and songwriter now living in Los Angeles, and making music with my husband Michael B. Sutton (Former Motown Producer) with our label www.thesoundofla.com and we are also serial entrepreneurs!
Is there anyone special who’s inspired you to forge ahead with your business?
Yes, my husband Michael B. Sutton our songs are inspired by our story
As a public figure, how do you think being hailed as a role model impacts others and what pressure does it put on you?
Michael and I are all about spreading love, hope, and positivity so with the help of God we would like our listeners to feel good about themselves and have hope no matter how challenging life can be
Do you have a motto or a mantra you apply to work, life, or both?
Yes when I have a plan I say God willing when the plan is executed I say God has willed it
I practice gratitude, and saying thank you every day brings many benefits… that’s why my in latest release “Merci” which in French means “Thank you” is very important to me,
How do you cope with stress?
I pray I listen to relaxing music, and binaural beats and I sing “Thank You” “Merci” my latest release ???? because I think gratitude really improves your emotional well being and being thankful has other benefits, look It up!
Can you tell us about a time when you almost gave up, how you felt about that, and what you did instead of giving up?
I do, and my mother taught me how to pray, it helped me a lot!
Those moments of being burned out and feeling of giving up inspire me the song “Gonna Be Alright” (I know better days are coming…. Gonna Be Alright.. Hold On To My Faith…)

What was your key driving force to becoming an entrepreneur?
The driving force to become an entrepreneur is the will to help others find a solution to their challenges, I have several businesses with my husband Michael B. Sutton

I also have a book publishing company Editions L.A. with my husband Michael B. Sutton, Together we create interactive illustrative books, colouring books for children and books for adults to “How To Start A Conversation in French” to learn french and english.
The reason why we started this project of writing french/english books and interactive children’s books, was to create something for her nieces and nephews, and step children to learn and become familiarize with the language French/English in an easy and interesting way with the help of illustrations. I also want my beloved husband Michael B. Sutton to learn French as well so he can have deep conversation with my parents and all my family in France! ????
We wish to leave something not only for our relatives but for anyone who wants to start learning French or English, in the form of audio-digital and print book.

I like my veggie soups in winter and salads in summer.
