Raised in a small town, the daughter of a Russian/Ukrainian family, Ilona saw in music and dancing a vessel for creative expression and comfort, when she felt different from her peers. As a vocal student at Berklee College of Music in Boston, she found inspiration in composer Hans Zimmer, and his journey of creative independence. Channeling her deep introspection and curiosity, she moved from Minnesota to Los Angeles, letting herself explore every opportunity for creativity.
