Body positivity influencer Mizz Jackiee is intertwining dance and fitness while helping all people embrace their shapes and sizes.
Dance and fitness can bring joy and makes you feel great. She is the founder of GoPole Fitness and is a dance and fitness instructor at GoPole Fitness. The GoPole Fitness classes practice inclusivity, acceptance, and equality. She’s making a difference in the empowering movement for diversity and inclusion and it is inspiring. What’s more important is that her activism and influence are motivating people to find their own courage and confidence within themselves. Here, Mizz Jackiee shares her views on body positivity and offers tips for body appreciation.
I am all about encouraging the body inclusivity conversation to the mass and for people to love the skin they are in. GoPole Fitness has made it their mission to have an inclusive environment that the classes are dedicated to people of all races, sizes, shapes, and abilities. It is about making the classes inviting and welcoming for those of all fitness levels, identity, and experience. Seek places that offer an inclusive environment including a group fitness environment.

Dancing and exercising foster a great sense of connection between the body, mind, and spirit and for your body positivity. It can motivate you and you can have a sense of empowerment.
Self-care once a week
Try at least once a week to be mindful of your self-care and mental energy. It is crucial to take time for yourself. Self-care is important for your body and health.
Surround yourself with positive people
Surround yourself with friends and loved ones who promote body positivity.
Practice gratitude
Count your blessings for what you have. These means be grateful for your body and your ability to care for it each day.
Meditate
Take a few minutes to meditate to collect your thoughts and clear your mind for your mental and physical health. This can also help with your body positivity.

Take breaks in your day
Keep active during your day with mini-breaks. Step away from your computer for a few minutes. When you take a mini-break it revitalizes you and helps you be more productive.
