Los Angeles singer/songwriter Dalton Cyr has just released his latest single, “Dying To Love You.” This heartthrob of a track is sure to get you in your feelings, as Cyr’s passionate vocals pair with powerful guitar strings to deliver an emotional story. This longing for love is a relatable theme that fits into mainstream music, but Cyr is able to find his own sound through his heartfelt vocals and talent with guitar riffs.

“I wrote this song to capture the helpless feeling of being trapped in a hot and cold relationship. The toxicity of emotional high highs and low lows takes a toll on the psyche- hence, ‘Dying To Love You.’” – Dalton Cyr

In addition to singing and playing guitar for the song, Dalton Cyr co-wrote “Dying To Love You” with Roger Manning and Mikal Blue. Manning can also be found on the keys, and Blue produced the track. Other instrumentalists include Sean Hurley on bass, Victor Indrizzo on drums, and Roger Manning playing the keyboard. Cyr keeps his sound consistent with previous singles, surrounding his ardent vocals with attention-grabbing guitar harmonies.

Florida native Dalton Cyr is a high-energy performer who captivates audiences with powerful vocals and lively guitar riffs. This clean, string-dominated sound draws inspiration from artists such as John Mayer and Jack Johnson. As a part-time actor, Cyr feels more than comfortable onstage, and has performed live on multiple tours in front of audiences as large as 50,000. Cyr has also performed at venues across LA and opened for artists such as Jason Mraz and Colbie Caillat.

“Dying To Love You” is sure to get you in your feels while maintaining a head-swaying groove.
