Indie-Pop artist Carrie Lane debuted her official video for her single “If I Can’t Be With You” yesterday, exclusively on Paste Magazine.
“I was immediately hooked on Lane’s infectious pop vibes and flawless yet sexy vocals,” Paste remarks on the single. The audio debuted last month with Forever21, and is now available at all digital retailers.
“‘If I Can’t Be With You’ is about the all-consuming feeling you get when you first fall in love with someone and all you want is to be with that person 24 hours a day, 7 days a week,” Carrie explains. “I remember being a teenager and every time I started dating a boy I would have these butterflies in my stomach all of the time and I would talk about it nonstop with my girlfriends. When they would ask me questions like, ‘what happens if he breaks up with you?’ I would say, ‘I’d rather DIE’ in the most dramatic fashion possible. I’ve definitely matured out of that stage of puppy love, but I have always been a hopeless romantic and when I fall, I fall hard, and this song is a testament to that.”

Carrie Lane is a rising star who sings, writes songs, creates video, models and enjoys connecting with her fans. She has been making music most of her life, hoping to inspire others to find their own voices. Carrie has been touring her solo music since 2014, starting out traveling in Summer 2014 with YouTube sensations Taylor Caniff and Sammy Wilkinson. Now, Carrie Lane is back and excited to release her newest sound in her indie pop record, expected out Spring of 2017. In addition to her singing career, Lane is also an accomplished model and is represented by MSA Models of New York and Los Angeles and recently modeled in a national campaign for Target. She is currently in the studio recording new hits while continuing to travel the country and spread good vibes.
