Born and raised in Singapore, Bess Chew’s passion for the performing arts began at a young age, leading her to pursue music full-time despite earning a degree in Psychology from the University of Western Australia. After releasing her debut single “Getaway” in June 2024, she has continued to hone her craft, completing a songwriting and production diploma at SOMA in Singapore and a songwriting course at London’s ICMP.
