“For You” was written by Anna and Swedish producer and songwriter Tobias Fröberg with participation from pianist Larry Goldings and the Norwegian producer & singer-songwriter Thomas Dybdahl. A remix package for the track is now available on iTunes, and a remix lyric video is available on VEVO.
Anna Bergendahl appeared on Swedish national TV when she was 12, performing Wild Cherry’s monster hit from 1976, “Play That Funky Music.” When she was sixteen, she auditioned for “Idol” – the Swedish version of “American Idol” – and made the members of the jury almost speak in tongues after she performed Bonnie Raitt’s song “Have A Heart.” In 2010, she won the Swedish song competition “The Melody Festival,” easily the most seen program every year in her native country.
Anna’s album – Something To Believe In – was released in Sweden in the fall of 2012. The U.S. release of Something To Believe In is slated for 2015.
