How would you describe the music that you typically create?

I create music based off of how I’m feeling. Sometimes it’s happy sometimes it’s sad music. But here lately it’s been more about experiences and describing different events in my life. I keep my music true to myself with soul and meaning.

What lead you to become a music artist and what advice can you give to others aspiring to make a hit?

When I was about 6 years old, I had taken voice lessons and they gave me a solo in the recital. After that day I just knew this is what I wanted to do. I started singing daily. Writing daily. And never gave up. My advice would be to believe that you got this. Don’t let someone tell you it’s impossible because nothing is impossible.

Was anyone else involved in writing, recording, or producing the songs?

I am so blessed to have such an incredibly talented team. Struggle Jennings who signed me to his independent label “Angels and Outlaws” is apart of all of the creative process. He’s one of the most incredible writers that I’ve been blessed to work with. JD Huggins is one of my fellow team mates who is so incredibly talented with his writing and melody’s. We actually just wrapped up the writing on Struggles new album and it is amazing. And of course, we can’t forget who creates our amazing beats! Scattered Brains is our producers and I never fail to get WOWED by the instruments he adds. I could talk all day about everyone on our team and the amazing ideas taken and energy they all bring to the table.

How do you go about writing a song? Do you have a melody in your head and then write the other music for it?

Usually, I have some sort of music and then I start humming a melody and then write to that. But sometimes the melody and the lyrics come to me randomly. I record a little voice note and then we get to work bringing the idea to life.

You are a new addition to a crayon box. What colour would you be and why?

Here lately I’ve been drawn to the color emerald green so I would say emerald green but if you’ve seen me perform and saw what I wear, it just wouldn’t be right if I didn’t have an over the top sparkly emerald green crayon lol

As a kid were you ever frightened of a monster under the bed or in the cupboard?

As a kid?! I still turn off the light and jump onto my bed so the monsters don’t grab my ankles lol!! Or run up the stairs in panic when it’s dark haha.

Which are cooler? Dinosaurs or Dragons?

Dragons for sure. But I’m a big Harry Potter fan.

If you could learn any language fluently, what would it be?

Definitely French. My mom is French and when we went to Canada to visit her family, she had to translate everything and I so wished I could speak with them.
