Award winning, genre bending rapper, producer, activist and multi-instrumentalist Dizraeli returns with his new album, Alive At The End Of The World: Set Two, the second part of a double album release of live recordings from his recent tour The Twenty Years Deep Tour. This groundbreaking tour was built around the idea of being as sustainable as possible, with a focus on connecting with local communities and leaving a lasting legacy that matters.

The album amplifies this message while also showcasing his unique musicality of punching-hip-hop soundscapes from his 8 piece ensemble that blending rich electronics with live organic elements.

The tracks offer a look at the more electronic side of Dizraeli’s music, contrasting well with the folk approach of the first release. The soundscapes blend live strings, pulsing synths and punching drums topped with a wash of soulful backing vocals and Dizraeli’s unique poetic lyricism.

The second part of the album takes you to the rowdier, darker side of the artist’s catalogue, with songs drawn from the Worldwide Music Award-nominated album The Unmaster. The album swings from righteous fire to the frenetic, anxious energy of ‘I Freak Out’, to the epic choral energy of ‘I’m A Wave’, featuring the harmonies of two Bristol choirs.

The electrifying “Madness” starts with a haunting synth melody before Dizraeli’s powerful and emotive vocals enter the chat. The lyrics explore themes of anxiety, fear, and uncertainty, perfectly capturing the mood of our times.

The chorus is particularly impactful, with Dizraeli delivering the lines “It’s madness, madness, madness, madness / In this world we live in, we’re trying to survive”. The beat is driven by pulsating drums and bass, giving the track a frenetic energy that perfectly matches the intensity of the lyrics. The song also features a dynamic and emotive string section that adds depth and texture to the overall sound.

“The second part of my two-part live album takes you to the rowdier, darker side of the artist’s catalogue and the phenomenal band step up to the plate, with Joseph Costi’s synth work and the drumming of Ben Brown (Alfa Mist, Mulatu Astatke) coming into their own,” shares Dizraeli. “With a number of songs drawn from the Worldwide Music Award-nominated album The Unmaster, Alive At The End Of The World : Set Two swings from righteous fire to the frenetic, anxious energy of I Freak Out, to the epic choral energy of I’m A Wave, featuring the harmonies of two Bristol choirs. This is heartfelt, passionate rebel music for broken times.”

Alive At The End Of The World: Set Two is a heartfelt and passionate collection of rebel music for broken times. If you’re a fan of genre-bending hip-hop, electronic music, and socially responsible artists, this album is definitely worth a listen.
