Camissa House, 28 Bridle Road, Cape Town

Camissa House is discreetly tucked away amidst the mountains and trees, the world bustling outside while you relax and calmly enjoy the views. Camissa House with its luxury terrace rooms provides the perfect escape in the heart of the city. Its name a nod to the tranquil waters that have run through the property for centuries, Camissa House prioritises the need for stillness and serenity in these bustling times. High tea is served daily here and there is a 24-hour butler service should you need it. As it’s located right next to Table Mountain, there is no better place to be for those rejuvenating walks in nature.

Noah House, 6 Tamboerskloof Road, Cape Town

Noah House’s elegance and style is juxtaposed perfectly with the old-world charm of being located in one of the city’s oldest guest houses. Originally built as a farm in 1860, this Victorian period convert ensures nothing but luxury from the get-go. Take in the views of the mountain on the sun-filled patio. Noah House offers an onsite café which sources fresh local produce for its dishes. Located in the quiet, relaxed suburb of Tamboerskloof in the centre of Cape Town, it’s the perfect location for trips to Table Mountain or the seaside. On Friday evenings in the summer, Noah House hosts live jazz on the terrace.

Cape Heritage Hotel, 90 Bree Street, Cape Town

Set in the historic Heritage Square in Cape Town, the Cape Heritage Hotel perfectly blends old and new world with contemporary vision. Intimate and personal, this space provides a shelter but is right in the middle of the vibrant centre of Cape Town with shopping and restaurants to lure you when you’re ready. Their central courtyard hosts South Africa’s oldest known fruit bearing vine. The hotel provides a warm, welcoming space with its cosy interiors and décor.

The Treehouse Boutique Hotel, 28 Vesperdene Road, Green Point

With panoramic views of the sea and city, this fashionable hotel, located in lively Greenpoint, offers plush rooms and decadent bathtubs set amongst gorgeous contemporary architecture. The breakfasts are delicious and if you’re not up for exploring, luxuriate by the pool instead. Nearby cafes, bars and restaurants are sure to keep you entertained. The service here is excellent.

Cape Cadogan Boutique Hotel, 8 Upper Union Street, Cape Town

The beautiful, newly refurbished Cape Cadogan is nothing but elegant. With shades of emerald green, gold and black and white you’ll instantly feel transported into a luxurious oasis. Located in the heart of Cape Town, with vibrant eateries and hotspots for you to explore all the while knowing you’ll be coming home to sumptuous surroundings. The Cape Cadogan also offers their very own onsite restaurant, Upper Union, or relax in the spa. The hotel boasts a gym and exquisite pool for you to plunge yourself in on hot days.

Dorp Hotel, 273 Longmarket Street, Cape Town

Dorp Hotel marries timeless distinction with nostalgia and a touch of eccentricity perfectly. Palatial yet unique with unparalleled views and a garden to lose yourself in. Described as Cape Town’s ‘mysterious’ hotel, it is a place for those who enjoy a touch of the eclectic. They are keen on ensuring a relaxed atmosphere while you meander among the wildflowers. You’ll enjoy spending time at the Salon populated with old books to peruse and sofas to lounge on or take in the views of the city at night here. The Salon acts as their lounge, dining room, café, library and restaurant and you are encouraged to stay as long as you want. The restaurant boasts a delicious home cooked menu of treats such as twice baked cheese souffle and rotisserie chicken. There is such love and attention to detail here from the niceties available in your room to the bowls of apples to help yourself to.

Pod Boutique Hotel, 3 Argyle Street, Camps Bay

Located on the shores of Camps Bay, there will be beautiful views, and even more beautiful sunsets to behold here. Pod ensures luxury and relaxation co-exist in a crisp, contemporary design. With a choice of mountain rooms, luxury rooms, terrace pool rooms and deluxe suites there is something to suit every mood and occasion.
