Following the release of her latest dance-infused, pop offering ‘Out Of Order’, half-Indian, half-Serbian rising UK star RIKA is back with her third single of the year, ‘Hold On To Me’, a coy new banger on love and relationships that maintains her growing reputation as a confident, naturally melodic hitmaker.

Continuing to add to the steady growth of buzz surrounding the 18-year-old Londoner since her emergence onto the scene with her 2017 debut ‘No Need’, the mixed heritage artist remains on course to becoming one of the breakout names of 2019, ripping up the traditional rule book on that a young female pop artist can be.

Immediately commanding attention with a fluid balance of striking vocals and vibrant, future pop influences, this Summer saw RIKA successfully take to the stage for her debut performance at Radio 1 Big Weekend, with ‘Wanna Know’ swiftly becoming BBC Radio 1’s Tune of the Weekend following its release – all of which followed a supporting slot on Zak Abel’s European and UK tour.

Tastemaker support has been immediate, with the likes of VIPER MAG, HUNGER and WONDERLAND all proclaiming a confident, new iteration of pop star. RIKA’s presence continues to change the narrative and underline her stake as 2019’s brightest new pop queen.
