What is the Schedule?
There are two itineraries in the Golden Chariot tour package- Pride of South and Southern of the Splendour. The schedule for these two tour packages are as follows:
Golden Chariot Train – Pride of South Circuit
This is a 7 day tour which departs from Bangalore. The tour starts in October and runs through November, December 2017 and then there are regular trips through January, February and March 2018.
This luxury voyage starts from Bangalore and chugs through Mysore, Kabini Forests, Shravanabelagola, Belur and Halebid Temples, Hampi, Badami and Pattadakal. The last spark of the trip is at Goa.
Southern of the Splendour Tour Schedule
This is also a 7 days tour which operates from October, November and December 2017 and again in February 2018.
Here, also the departure is from Bangalore and the train runs through Chennai, Mahabalipuram, Auroville at Pondicherry, Tanjavur, Trichy, Madurai and Kanyakumari. The prime features of this trip are visits to Wooden Palace, Kovalam Beach, boat rides on houseboats over Alleppey backwaters and a walk through the historic lanes and sublime beaches of Cochin.
