How would you describe the music that you typically create?
The music that I am creating is a fusion of traditional country instrumentation and modern pop production techniques, complemented by relatable lyrics that delve into themes of love, heartbreak, and personal growth.
Who would you most like to collaborate with?
John Mayer will always be my top dream collaboration. I’ve been a fan of his since I was very young.
What would you be doing now if it weren’t for your music career?
If I were unable to pursue music, my alternative career path would be acting and modeling. However, if the arts were not a possibility at all, I would likely pursue entrepreneurship as I have a strong desire to start a business.
What draws you to your preferred genre?
Country music is a genre that has a strong history and versatility, ranging from traditional country to contemporary pop country, which fascinates me. Country music will always be the storytelling genre above all disputes of what is and is not “country” to me. It is the type of music for when you’re sitting on a beach or going through a breakup- aka everything!
If you could go open a show for any artist, who would it be?
Kelsea Ballerini, John Mayer, or Kacey Musgraves would be a dream!
What would be the ideal food to have cooked for you on a date night?
Caprese (with burrata, Jersey tomatoes, Olive Oil from Montepulciano, and fresh basil)- there’s truly nothing better.
Whom would you want to play you in a movie of your life?
People say I look like Rose Byrne, so I think she would be a great fit and she’s a great actress.
Do you have any superstitions?
Having grown up in the performing arts, hearing the phrase “Good Luck” instead of “Break a Leg” can make me a bit nervous.
What makes you nostalgic?
I love listening to records and have gained a newfound appreciation for the older formats of music, especially in light of the streaming era. My parents held onto a lot of their records and now I’m giving them a second life.
Do you sing in the shower? What songs?
Of course! In fact, I start the ideas for a lot of the songs I write when I am in the shower. I’ll start humming a line, and as soon as I get out, I’ll write parts of it down or record it on my voice notes.
