The very first step is simple. You need to stop focusing all of your time, energy, and attention on them, and you need to give it to yourself instead. Why think about what they are doing and what they have, when you could be concentrating on your strengths and achieving your own goals?

Sit down and really think about what you want from your life, and what you can do to make sure that you get it. When you’re busy planning out your own life, you’ll have less time to worry about the lives of others!
