About the album, Heartstreets states:
We decided to call the album Why Make Sense as a little clin d’oeil about how we feel in this industry – this musical and emotional world. We don’t like following formulas on how to promote or create our music. Not everything needs to be calculated. We believe in being genuine 100% of the time and going with what we feel.
We seriously couldn’t wait for the record to be out! We really enjoyed working with so many amazing producers, musicians, and artists on it. We feel like we went all in, never limiting ourselves. This year will be spent playing as many shows in support of Why Make Sense as we possibly can! We hope to see your smiling faces somewhere in the crowd.
