July 13 the LA-via-Brooklyn trio Dreamers released their new EP LAUNCH, a collection of songs that reinvent the breakup narrative. Centered on new beginnings, LAUNCH channels that raw emotion into a tightly crafted sound that’s guitar-heavy but textured with electronic elements. LAUNCH is the first of a trilogy of releases to roll out through 2018/2019 and the band’s upcoming U.S. headlining tour.
The first single off the EP, “Screws,” is currently climbing the charts at Alternative Radio. “Screws,” says lead singer, Nick Wold, “is a tortured love song about losing your mind — the lyric is I’m lying naked and my brain has lost its screws. We really wanted to make a passionate song in the style of early 90’s industrial music, which often dealt with the darker sides of romance, while bringing it into the world of 2018 sonically. It came out of the crumbling of logic and reason that love can bring, twisted dreams and memories, ghosts and insurmountable walls that can be created in a mind left to its own devices. I had a strange feeling at the end my last relationship, that I was most lonely when I was with her.”
The band will embark on a 31-date U.S. headlining tour kicking off on September 13th in San Diego, CA, hitting major cities including Houston, Nashville, Boston, Philly, Chicago, New York and ending in Los Angeles on Oct. 27. The tour features support acts Weathers, along with label-mate morgxn, and Rad Horror on select dates. For tickets, please visit: https://www.Dreamersuniverse.com/tour

About Dreamers
Los Angeles-via-Brooklyn trio Dreamers have spent the past few years touring non-stop, playing everywhere from tiny bars and massive arenas to festivals such as Lollapalooza, Bumbershoot and Firefly. Along the way, Nick, Nelson and Jacob have shared stages with the likes of Stone Temple Pilots, X Ambassadors, The 1975, Bleachers, Atlas Genius Catfish and The Bottlemen, Weezer, and The Griswolds, while garnering coverage from Fader, Entertainment Weekly and Paste, among many others. In 2016, the band released their debut full-length album This Album Does Not Exist, which spawned a national radio hit, the electro-sprinkled pop gem “Sweet Disaster,” which hit No. 7 on the Alternative radio chart and was spotlighted on SiriusXM’s Alt Nation for several months. Three other songs also charted nationally: the ’90s throwback “Drugs,” the crooning ” Wolves (You Got Me),” which initially charted on Alt Nation in late 2014, when DREAMERS were still unsigned, and the soulful, brisk power-pop of their single “Painkiller.” The band recently wrapped a tour with All Time Low and their debut performance at Bonnaroo, and are gearing up to put out a trilogy of releases, beginning with LAUNCH on July 13th, with more new music to be released throughout 2018/2019 and a fall U.S. headlining tour.
