22 year-old singer/songwriter Dan Crossley blazed into the scene last year with critically-acclaimed single releases “Feel”, “Rome” and “Talk” – amassing over 450K streams in the process. Now moving to a more soul/pop-laced sphere, Dan drops his gorgeous new offering, “7 Minutes” – the first release from his upcoming new EP, “Closure”.
Following a notable entrance that quickly garnered press across WONDERLAND, THE LINE OF BEST FIT and CLASH MAGAZINE amongst others, the emerging, London-based artist now comes through with a polished, slow-burning new release that hints excitingly at new material in a similar R&B-nuanced vein. It’s a new instrumental path, produced by Fred Cox (Zak Abel, Samm Henshaw) that creates a new context to Dan’s superb vocal performance – one that will be sure to continue to generate intrigue in the young artist.
Speaking on the track, Dan states: “I wrote ‘7 Minutes’ about the immediate attraction I had for someone, regardless of knowing it was bad for me to get involved. Those initial ‘7 Minutes’ may feel like heaven, but as this next body of work I’ve written will show, it can cause so much more to happen.”
