Killer Metal Records recording artist Corners of Sanctuary (COS) goes global as the band makes its first trip to Europe this August for a handful of live performances. This excursion takes them to Belgium and Germany as COScontinues support for their newest album “The Galloping Hordes,” bringing their unique brand of traditional Heavy Metal to the world stage.
“The opportunity to take our music to Europe and play live is amazing,” said COS bassist James Pera. “We have been waiting for this moment for quite awhile… now it’s here and we are ready,” he continued.
The tour begins on August 10th in Eernegem, Belgium and finishes on August 18th in Lingen, Germany. See full tour schedule above.
“We’re doing six shows… a couple in Belgium and the rest in Germany,” said the band’s guitarist Mick Michaels. “…definitely going to be on the move and covering a lot of ground… just hoping we have a minute or two to breathe and take in some of the sights,” he continued with a smile.
The new album, “The Galloping Hordes,” which was mastered by famed producer Bill Metoyer (Slayer, W.A.S.P., Fates Warning), was digitally made available in May and will have an official CD release in August through the band’s label Killer Metal Records. A lyric video for the title track was initially released in April prior to the album’s digital release. Watch the video below.

Keep it Metal Promotions wrote: “Old school metal is alive and thriving…The Galloping Hordes is an outstanding achievement with plenty to offer to new fans and old! “ (June 2018)
Seth’s Rock Report wrote: “…without a doubt, some of their best work yet… you won’t be disappointed.” (May 2018)

Corners of Sanctuary have also made available a new COS Classics CDtitled “Finding Sanctuary.” This collection, also mastered by Metoyer, features all new recorded versions of several older songs as well as four brand new tracks including the title track “Finding Sanctuary”. A video for the song was also recently released. The single can also be downloaded for free at the band’s website.
“After working with Bill on The Galloping Hordes album, there was no other choice but to have him master Finding Sanctuary as well,” said COS drummer Mad T.
“It’s great having the opportunity to go back to things we did in the past and give them a make-over,” said lead singer Frankie Cross. “The songs have been evolving… how we do them now live is way different then how they were originally recorded. We wanted to bring things up to speed,” Cross added.
A second video for the “The Galloping Hordes” album is being planned and will look to release later this Fall. The band also plans to video document their trip to Europe with the hopes of producing a behind the scenes documentary of the tour.
