London based duo Cherryade have unveiled their latest single ‘Empress’, a supercharged female empowerment anthem with witty tongue-in-cheek lyrics over driving, futuristic production. Co-written and produced by Eddie Serafica (Nadia Rose, James Bay), Ella said: “We wanted to write a song that’d make people sing along and make me feel like royalty at the same time. There’s a lot of queens in the UK music scene at the moment but there aren’t any empresses!”.
Cherryade have amassed a string of support from the likes of The Guardian, TIME, Spotify’s New Music Friday UK, PopJustice, CLASH, Dummy, BBC Introducing, Apple Music & more.
