Singer/songwriter Andria Piperni creates a jazz-tinged alternative fusion of R&B and soul, inspired in part by the everyday experience as well as her vividly surreal dream episodes. After a brief time living in Paris, she returned to her hometown of Montreal with a shifted perspective on what “living” truly means, and ultimately found the calling of her truest life, one of sharing stories and lessons through music.
“Fresh Paint” is the latest single to be shared from Andria’s forthcoming Who’s Counting? EP, slated for release sometime next year. Like a painting, the meaning behind the song is really open to interpretation. It’s various elements coming together to create something entirely new, sweeping you away from reality and pulling you into an unfamiliar, magical moment or place.
