The youngest contestant of NBC’s hit TV show The Voice, Olivia Kay, joins fellow Oklahoman and OKC hip hop luminary J French for the official music video of “Different Ain’t Different,” released (4/30/2018).

A standout single from French’s sophomore album OGB (Only Gets Better), the song’s visual treatment arrives on the heels of his regional ad campaign for Fenton Nissan West.

‘”Different ain’t Different’ is about artists not being able to be artists without someone either completely biting them or duplicating their style, which depreciates the value of true artistry. This song is made from pure observation and you can tell by the lyrics.”  – J French

Released in the fourth quarter of 2017 via EMPIRE, and arriving just shy of a year of French’s debut album Jaguar JesusOGB is chock-full of self-produced, motivational music, featuring two guest emcees (Kurt Dog and Zilla) and three guest producers (Emory aka Lucky 7Mike Payton, and Lambo from Hawaii).
