Following support from Radio 1’s Alyx Holcombe and Gemma Bradley on her last release, Death Anxiety, Alt/pop rock artist Tally Spear returns with a fiery new single, alone again.
The punk infused, emotional yet driving chorus showcases Tally’s ability to write captivating hooks and relatable lyrics, and is complemented by dark and eerie electronic verses.
Tally has explained of the upcoming track, “alone again explores the confusion and conflict that comes alongside falling in love and dating, but at the same time it celebrating the love you have with yourself and your own company. I wanted the song to be vulnerable but also strong and independent, as in the lyric ‘I’m so alone, I like it that way.’ I hope a lot of people will be able to relate and feel understood when they hear this song.”
Since Tally released ‘Death Anxiety’ she has been writing and recording new material in LA and London, working with renowned producers such as Mark Jackson & Ian Scott in Los Angeles, alongside playing live shows.
Tally’s passions go further than just music; raised vegan, she is also a keen animal rights activist and a supporter of sustainable and cruelty-free fashion. Ever since Tally could hold a pen, the chanteuse has been writing poetry and stories. A trained pianist and self-taught guitarist, the multi-talented artist started writing and playing music at a very young age. Brought up on powerhouses such as Carole King and Bob Dylan, Tally’s own sound is an amalgamation of her punk attitude and pop sensibilities.
With alone again, Tally Spear is set to cement her place as one of the UK’s most exciting new talents. The single was released on May 5th and is now available on all major streaming platforms https://linktr.ee/Tallyspear
