What first got you into music?

I appreciate you now asking me to be part of this!  Thank you so much. I grew up in very music orientated family.  I’ve been studying music my whole life. My mother owned a dance studio for 12 years. I started dance lessons at the age of 3 and my passion for music grew further from those experiences. I started singing lessons at age 5, which lead to many competitions and different opportunities. I received my first paid show at age 7, where I sang at a mall. I continued studying piano, music theory and voice throughout my childhood years. Eventually, that lead to my full-time music career.

How would you describe the music that you typically create?
My music is impulsive in the sense I write what I am feeling on that moment.  I don’t question what I am feeling.  It’s my form of therapy.  I like upbeat, happier songs or songs about revenge.  Haha!

What is your creative process like?

My process is getting my head submerged in the music.  I listen to a lot of music to always gain new inspiration and ideas.  I like to cowrite and collab with others to bounce off ideas and motivation.

What is your favorite song to perform?

My favorite song to sing live right is “Cold Day in Hell”. It is challenging vocally, sassy and I like to belt it out and get gritty with it.

What’s next for you?

I am working on my next blues album!  Stay tuned!

If you could be a superhero, what would your superpower be and your superhero name be?

I would a superhero that could fly, Teleport and time travel!

What was the last thing you dressed up as for fancy dress?

The Grammys!  I love getting glammed up!

What was the last TV series you watched on TV?

Wednesday on Netflix!  I really like it!

Do you have any lucky items, objects, or traditions?

My crystals!  I have several different necklaces and bracelets. They all special meaning and purpose.

What’s your favorite children’s story?

The Wizard of Oz!
