What do you think the greatest invention has been?

Juna: The Internet!

Joey: Obviously, the phonograph!

Do you have any lucky items, objects, or traditions?

Juna: I feel lucky, and I have a grateful attitude that makes me lucky! I also have a lucky microphone I  use.

Joey: I have a lucky guitar pick with my initials on it, which I keep in my pocket.

If you were talking to a younger version of yourself, what advice would you give yourself?

Juna: I would say, “practice a lot at whatever you do, and you will perfect it!” I’d also say, “do not let others bully you and accept help if offered by family or friends.”

Joey: I’d tell myself, “listen to the advice of others who came before you because they are wise and can help you to avoid the pitfalls and not to waste time and energy.” The most important advice is to work out, eat well, and sleep a lot!

Who first got you into music?

Juna: I saw the show “Little Rascals” when I was four years old, and I heard the little girl sing “L.O.V.E.,” made famous by Frank Sinatra. I sang it for my parents, and then they decided to sign me up for singing lessons.

Joey: I played sports, mainly baseball, and then I went to one of Juna’s lessons and found out I could sing, so you could say that Juna influenced me. She took the lessons first and then I wanted to join her too.

What is your current music project about?

Juna: The experience of creating our upcoming EP was so amazing – we couldn’t wait to get into the studio. We are so excited to put these songs out because we have waited for so long. We have three more singles to put out, and we are proud of each song. We co-wrote the four songs on the EP with amazing hit songwriters, but the songs are still very reflective of our sound, so that’s what makes it so special to us. I cannot wait for the ballad to come out – we have been told it is the strongest song.

Joey: It was a dream come true to have Ken Royster produce this EP as he produced one of our favorite artists, Luke Combs. We never thought we could be at this level so fast. I love our first single off of the EP, “Something Good To  Miss,” and my favorite track, “More Than A Maybe,” because they are more upbeat and rocking. Overall, we are proud of our debut, and we hope that the fans like it too.

How do you deal with writer’s block?

Juna: I haven’t had that experience yet!

Joey: So far, we just keep them coming. We wrote a hundred songs already. We will have two hundred by the end of the year!
