It was always a pleasure for me to share things with other writers with the same passion as me. Recently, I have another exceptional opportunity to share a few things with my friends at INSIDR. As maybe you already knew, INSIDR is a friendly startup based in Paris with the aim to make your travel experiences becoming the best experience. But, not only about Paris and France, they have a lot of other interesting tips and recommendations for another place in Europe!

Every time I heard the name “Paris”, several things will come up on the top of my head, but my top list is food, art, and romance. French food is well-known all around the world, and while you are in the capital of this country, it is your chance to take full benefit of it. Take a small break in the middle of exploring the city in one of the Parisian coffee shop that you can find around town. Pop in a boulangerie that is basically everywhere in Paris and takes the original French croissant. INSIDR has a list of the best croissant in Paris that is totally worth a try. If you have a sweet tooth, make sure to pay a visit to some of the best chocolatiers in Paris. It can make a good souvenir too!

Paris has more than a hundred museums around town. The Louvre being the most prominent one in Paris. As this museum always full of tourist all year round, make sure that you have prepared everything for your visit. How to get your ticket beforehand, the best access to get to The Louvre, and where you can grab a bite around the area are some of the most important that you have to know. If you are planning to visit several museums in Paris, you should consider getting the Paris Museum Pass that may be a good deal for you. As I mentioned before, Paris is full of museums. Not only big art museums like Louvre or L’Orangerie, but also the less known museum that was not less interesting to visit. Get this complete guide of museums in Paris by INSIDR, and you will be an expert before you know it.

For the real French experience, you have to do wine tasting. You don’t need to go to Bordeaux to do this, you can definitely do wine tasting in Paris. After that, choose any wines of your preferences in the best wine stores in Paris, where you can find any kind of wine, and bring some of the best wine home with you. Other than the wines, you can get some of the original gifts from France that will make a perfect souvenir for your beloved ones. For the simpler thing to get as a souvenir, you can even find some things in the supermarkets. It can be as simple as that, while you can still get the best travel experience, hassle free!

Another thing I want to share because I found it very interesting, is how much I’ve discovered about going around Paris at night! INSIDR wrote in length about all the different activities there to check out at night while in the city. Of course, there’s nothing wrong about sitting in a restaurant for dinner and some wine but I’m the type of person who needs to be doing something all the time! I loved reading about the Moulin Rouge. INSIDR’s articles painted a really different picture from what I’ve heard. Their article on the history of the iconic cabaret also described how amazing is their show and what kind of dinners that we can expect. I will try it if I’m in Paris, for sure!

Not far from Paris, you can visit the beautiful castle of Versailles. It can be easily accessed from Paris by public transportation, you can read this full guide about how public transportation in Paris works. They gave the complete instruction of which train to take and where to get the ticket to visit Versailles. You should also expect a lot of visitors in Versailles, so read further for local tips from INSIDR to get the best experience from your visit! While you were exploring Versailles, you can also try some of the best foods in Versailles before you leave the area, which has their own characteristics. Worth a try!
