The Best Mistake by Megs Pritchard
Darrell Ford should have turned right when he turned left and on top of that mistake his car decided it was time to pack up and die. Moving was meant to be the start of a new life for Darrell, he had a new job and new apartment waiting for him but his wrong turn had stranded him on the side of the road in the middle of nowhere.
When a kind stranger picks him up, Darrell’s life is about to change in a way he never saw coming.
The moment Jake Crocker saw Darrell he knew his search for a mate was over and it seemed as though Darrell felt the same way. It wasn’t long before they were burning up the sheets.
But their passion died quickly when Jake reveals the truth about himself and Darrell runs from him straight into his enemy’s hands.
Can Jake and his friends save Darrell, and if they do, will Darrell ever be able to accept who and what Jake is?
An okay start for the situation. But it gets better as I could feel Jake's excitement which drew me into the story.
Includes dwell pov's, jaguar shiftier, fast attraction, sex without protection, secret revealed too late, drama and a spy selling them out but who. Telepathic shifters a bonus. The ending is a gorgeous one which I loved. I'm totally grabbing the next book in the series..
Darrell was looking forward to a new start in a new town but along the way his car has other ideas. He'd had a new job as a biologists in a small company.
Jake 40 yrs finds a motorist stuck on the side of the road in the dark and offers to help.
Jake knew he'd met his mate, working in construction with his brother would keep him busy (after some groveling that is lol).
