So good!
(Updated: October 25, 2015)
This delightful book combines one of my favourite things...true love, with one of the things that makes my heart hurt....a gay man, living unhappily in the closet for fear of upsetting the status quo with family, friends and colleagues. How lonely and isolating that must be.

Adrian and Noah are sweet to the max, two geeks, passionate about their work. Adrian, so open and full of life, and Noah, quiet, reserved and hiding from himself.

A tentative friendship builds first, but the attraction and chemistry between them can't be ignored, as much as Noah would like to. The romance here is slow yet incredibly sexy. So many firsts between them; their first kiss, a little awkward and unsure, but so tender; Noah's first experience of being touched by a man, a revelation to him; through to the first time they make love. Adrian, determined to hold on to the man he is falling in love with, and Noah, so conflicted over what he so badly wants and what he believes he should be allowed.

There is nothing about Adrian and Noah not to like. Even Noah's insecurities and misguided need to fulfill the expectations of others, at the expense of his own happiness, don't detract from what a lovely character he is - it just makes you so sad for him.
The romance, the angst, the beautifully tender love scenes make this book a real page turner. Noah and Adrian are such adorable characters, you long for them to work out their problems and get their happy ever after. I like a happy ending in my stories, and the epilogue in this fab novel is hugely satisfying!

Love wins. Love should always win!
