About the Author
A few things about me... I am a married mom of four who spends most of the day writing, either on stories or at the blog. I love to write as much as I love to read. I am generally quiet and laid back, choosing to let things slide off me rather than stick and irritate me. And it's really hard trying to think of descriptives for myself, so I'll just let y'all e-mail me or comment at the blog if there's something specific you'd like to know, and spare you from reading a boring bio:D

Run With the Moon (Valen's Pack #1)
I am assuming that this is either set in a new world or in the future…..
Shifters and humans live side by side, neither know a lot about the other. Humans were nearly wiped out by plagues and war, the shifters were luckier they watched and learned.
Humans now live in small villages, where they grow what they eat, kill for meat, although they don’t seem very good at it because food is scarce.
Shifters live in packs, they keep themselves isolated, hunting what they need to survive.

Valen is an Alpha wolf, he needs to leave his pack to form one of his own as two full grown alphas can not live in the same pack. As he leaves he see’s a group of humans, one of which smells fantastic.
Aaron is human, he is frightened when he sees a shifter, when he gets close thing happen to his body that he doesn’t understand.
There is light BDSM, the sex is very graphic in places.

As I was reading I was thinking in this new world the humans need the shifters for them to survive as they seem to be doing a bad job themselves. They are cold and hungry because they don’t seem very good at hunting.

I found this book intriguing, I like the way the author portrayed both the humans and the shifters. This is very different from other shifter books i’ve read before.
I’m hoping in future books in this series we learn more about there world and hopefully the two species will learn to live together…..

This book has a good storyline with a fascinating plot.
Overall a very enjoyable read with a bit of everything.
