About the Author
K-lee Klein loves guys with long hair and tattoos, and you’ll often find her front and center at her favorite rock concerts. She has bounced around Western Canada all her life, but will always consider the solitude and beauty of the British Columbian mountains home. Her life is blessed as the proud mother of three now-grown but still spoiled kids, the servant of two bossy felines, and the wife of a truly patient husband.

Her writing muse is terribly temperamental, so to keep him close by and in check, she had him inked on her left calf. The gorgeous, long-haired, mostly naked, kneeling angel that resulted is truly a work of art, although he’s still a handful and hopelessly uncontrollable. She writes on his schedule and inspiration.

K-lee tends to fall easily into obsessions. When something grabs her attention, she jumps into it headfirst with complete abandon. Actors, musicians, superheroes, fictional characters, and brainwashed assassins all hold spots on her cannot-get-enough list. She once followed Thirty Seconds to Mars around the United States and Canada and saw them perform fourteen times that year. Obsession sometimes leads to ideas for her kneeling angel to turn into stories.

Although an introvert in person, she’s extroverted online and has met many wonderful friends there, sometimes with the added fun of meeting them in person at gay romance conferences. She’s grateful for all the people in her life who accept her as she is and support her through her ups and downs as mom, wife, and joyfully obsessed writer.

JT Campbell knows Brett Taylor’s proclamation of love a few months earlier was true and honest, and Brett’s nothing if not sweet and attentive. But when the most romantic day of the year rolls around and Brett seems to be ignoring it, JT finds himself drowning in disappointment. Growing up, JT was never allowed to celebrate Valentine’s Day and was taught to reject the sappy, fake sentiments of the holiday. But would it be too much to expect Brett to at least acknowledge the day?

On top of that, JT can’t help but feel uneasy about the one huge reminder still standing on the ranch of Brett’s old lover. JT tries hard to pretend it doesn’t bother him, but he worries that as long as it’s there, Brett will never fully be able to let Walt go and move forward with JT. Can an unexpected show of love and commitment soothe JT’s fears?

  | Independent reviewer for Divine Magazine, I was gifted my copy of this book.

My apologies to Ms Klein, this should have been a Release day review, but that darn dayjob got in the way!

And a little warning. I may gush in this review :-)

So, this is book two, and you really REALLY MUST read book one, Unbreak My Heart before you jump into this one. Some may say not totally necessary but I say it is. And you'll need a box of tissues for that read!

While this one doesn't carry emotions that cause your heart to break into a million tiny pieces, get stomped on, and glued back together in the slowest way, it DOES carry a lotta love. Like so much love, its not funny! Like so much love my sister would say "pass the bucket!"

JT and Brett have been together a couple months and are very much in love. But they are both still dealing with the past. What this book is about, is them dealing with that past in ways only JT and Brett can.

AND IT IS GLORIOUS!

I read this book in one sitting. Stayed up way past my bedtime. Was not present at the dayjob next day. I just could not put it down! It is, by far, the most too stinking cute AND warm and fuzzies book I've read for a long time. I mean, its hilarious watching JT work himself up into a tizzy about Valentines Day. Watching them deal with Mama and Halloween, and Christmas. It is painful reading about Brett dealing that darn barn, but that pain is overshadowed by the LOVE that jumps off every page, it really is.

I LISTENED to the first book. I am praying to every deity known to man, and then some, that the powers that be will get this book narrated once again by Nick J Russo. Because while I loved reading this book, I could hear Russo in my head but the voices were all wrong. So, I'm a-praying.

Its so very rare we get a follow up story to one that was such a heart wrenching read. Brett and JT fought hard to get their act together and reading this, over the course of their year, was amazing, and I really REALLY loved it.

But I just gotta say, even though this book was perfect, and Brett already said he wasn't the kind for pieces of paper to say how much he loved the kid, I wanted a marriage proposal! Had there been a wedding?? I'd never have been able to find the right words!

An amazing 5 star read!!
