Contains explicit sexual situations between two men
When Brandon Kenner shows up at Kasey Ralston’s garage with a 1970 Chevelle SS 454, Kasey is smitten by both the man and his car. Between what Kasey considers a shameful fetish and his long estrangement from his family, Kasey finds it easiest to be alone, even distancing himself from his coworkers. But Brandon doesn’t think Kasey’s fetish is weird. In fact, he likes it.

I've only read a few of Ms. Sexton's books, but I've loved them all, so when I read the blurb for this book, I thought "okay, sounds interesting". Well it was definitely different, I'll say that. I'll admit I don't read many books containing kinky sex, and I wasn't quite sure what to make of Kasey's car fetish. It was interesting, but just a bit on the weird side. I absolutely loved Kasey, though. He was so sweet and his shyness gave him such an endearing quality. I wanted to hug him tight and protect him from everything that scared him. I wanted to be his friend, so he wouldn't be lonely anymore. Brandon was a different story, and even by the end of the book I wasn't sure where I stood with, or how I felt about, him. He didn't do or say enough, in my opinion, to make me feel secure about his feelings and intentions toward Kasey.
The story is short, but well written and the sex is spicy, but vocally, especially the last sex scene, Brandon was over the top dramatic and this took away from the hotness of the scene. I actually rolled my eyes! Yet, even with a fetish I don't get and a little dramatic performance, this was still and quick and enjoyable read, I'm sure many will love!
