Meet captivating, pop singer-songwriter, Sam Clark. The Los Angeles based, Australian-born artist first rose to fame as an actor on the hit Australian TV program ‘Neighbours’.
Credited in over 850 episodes of the internationally successful show, award nominated Clark’s credits also include several films and a major role in the five time Emmy-winning FOX/Paramount production Grease: Live. His talent, however, is clearly not limited to acting, having achieved top 40 success as a pop singer in Australia with his debut music release ‘Broken’.
Clark’s latest musical release entitled ‘Out Of Reach’ is co-written with Grammy award-winner Bill Grainer (Jennifer Hudson, Kimberley Locke). He confides how there was an instant connection between the two of them, “Despite us being from opposite sides of the globe we immediately hit it off and knew we were onto something special. We’ve been writing as a team between LA and NY under the moniker ‘The Long Losts’ ever since”. ‘Out of Reach’ is produced by fellow Australian, Andrew Furze (ARIA awards, The X Factor) and his team at TAG Music, who helped create this truly undeniable pop hit.
‘Out Of Reach’ is an intoxicating pop anthem featuring a melodic and energetic arrangement, paired with Clark’s honest and meaningful lyrics. This quintessential love song is an ode to authentic romance that is both relatable and heartfelt. “I want my songs to be catchy without compromising their lyrical content. If I had to choose a single theme that runs through all my songs, it would be love”, Clark admits. This narrative is further explored in the cinematic music video for ‘Out Of Reach’, as Clark adventures towards multiple forms of love.
Renowned for his live looping skills, Sam Clark is a seasoned performer having played hundreds of unique and engaging, one-man shows around the world.
