About the Author
When she's not writing the stories in her head, Megan Slayer can be found luxuriating in her hot tub with her two vampire Cabana boys, Luke and Jeremy. She has the tendency to run a tad too far with her muse, so she has to hide in the head of her alter ego, but the boys don't seem to mind.
When she's not obsessing over her whip collection, she can be found picking up her kidlet from school.
She enjoys writing in all genres, but writing about men in love suits her fancy best.

Airman Tate Gibson thought going to a party at the local college with his friends would take his mind off of his troubles. He’ll head back to Korea in two days time—after the funeral of his baby sister. He’s always taken responsibility for her and he’s not ready to deal with her being gone. He wants a man to help him deal with his sadness and give him a reason to get through his deployment.
Raine crushed on his neighbor across the hallway, but once he spots the hunky airman his thoughts center on Tate. He wants to strip the handsome blue-eyed man down and lick him everywhere, but geeky guys like Raine never get the man. He’s stuck playing the perpetual wallflower.
Will one night tear them apart before things get hot or will it be enough to bring these two wounded souls together for a long-term engagement?

Sweet and wounded
Tate and Raine (like the stuff that falls from the sky ;)

Tate is a mess he's an airman and over from Korea for the most horrible thing you can imagine.... His sister's funeral... he is devastated. Blake his ever partying friend ask him over, but when he is at the party he goes right back to the door to disappear and he collapsed into a guy with the bluest eyes he have ever seen, Blake's neighbor Raine.

Raine is a writer and thinks of himself as a nerd and so opposite from Tate. When he sees Tate's expression he know he have to ask him over at his apartment for a beer....

Tate is so in for distraction he gives in. They have a hot and passionate night and they fit very well together...two days and a funeral together... is that enough to continue? Tate has to go back to Korea and he is afraid to tell Raine....

A short and sweet story with the sharp sides of life in it. The writing was in a smooth pleasurable way.

The story is well told, a tiny comment is the timeline.... they know each other so briefly... I always have trouble with accepting that.... but that's called instant love... :) One night... and so the title says!

They have their happy end!!
