Getting to know PLENTY

PLENTY1

If you were to write an autobiography, what would the title be?

Maincharacter (!!)

What would be a good theme song for your life

“Oops, I did it again”(:

What’s your least favourite personality trait you like about yourself?

The fact that I try to stress about things that haven’t even happened. That shits exhausting and dosent do anyone any good. Its real pain and I gotta stop!!! : (

What’s your most expensive piece of clothing?

Probably  some pair of my shoes… I invest in that shit. Its really so so stupid haha

If you were talking to a younger version of you, what advice would you give yourself?

I think about this alot and I actually have two.

“Patience and persistence ultimately pay off. But they usually do so very slowly”.

“Fear is a wolf. Chase the wolf, and you’ll never be afraid of the things you once feared”.

Have you written songs for any other artists?

Yes, I was one of the songwriters on a song released by BRKLYN. The song is called “Bass Face” and I wrote it with three other friends of mine!

Do you enjoy recording and production?

Honestly; no. I think its fun and sometimes super exciting, but its definitely not one of my favourite things to do. But I need to do this to get to do my favourite part of it all, which is preforming.

If you could pass on a nugget of wisdom to the next musical generation, what would it be?

Just do it. You’re going to fail, but dont look at it as a negative thing. Failing is a needed step to succeeding. Look at it this way; when you fail, you’re one step closer to succeeding <3 Nobody ever made history by playing it safe. Be bold!

If you could change anything about the industry, what would it be?

The differences of power when it comes to women and men in the industry. I want more women in charge, loader voices from the girls in the back, and a bit less confidence from most men. You do not know it all, either does the women- but belive me; they know at least as much as you. All you have to do is give them the same chance someone once gave you.

What can we expect from you within the next 6 months? Any releases planned? Future gigs

I will be releasing my favourite single this far in June…….

Love The Way You Hate Cover

PLENTY has released her single “Love The Way You Hate”.

Love The Way You Hate was written in one day over an inspiring track my producer, Joel, had ready for me. My friend Vanja and I toplined some ideas, and it was when she, Vanja, sang the talking part in the chorus we had the beginning of the whole song. When I sang over the melody in the chorus I randomly sang “love the way you hate” and we loved the idea of it. We decided that we wanted to write a song about rising above. There will always be someone who’s gonna hate literally anything you do, probably because they’re jealous or don’t have better things to do. Being offended by this is literally stupid, but rising above and loving it is everything.

“Love The Way You Hate” is PLENTY’s second out of three singles that’s going to be collected in an EP released June of 2021.
