Adam Jones is someone Divine has featured before. Just out of high school, Adam was nineteen when he started working as an escort and became addicted to methamphetamines. Since then, he’s clawed his way back from the abyss and now he’s making short films with a distinctly personal edge and touch.
This young film maker is someone to be reckoned with and is garnering great reviews for his latest short film, ‘Angels Forever’.
You can watch it here on Vimeo – Angels Forever
Reputation is what men and women think of us. Character is what god and the angels know of us.
It was released on January 1st, 2016. Billed as a ‘dreamy panoramic’, the film was scored by David Beard and Benjamin McElroy from United Kingdom. There was also collaboration with Matías Bombal’s Hollywood to create a vintage vibe to the project.
Earlier in February, it was reviewed by UK Film review. They had this to say and you can read the full review below-
‘Angels Forever is a dreamy, almost distracted piece of filmmaking. Aesthetically stunning and precisely artistic, the collaboration with the composers and lighting designer has made this a mesmerising short film.’
Angels Forever had its first screening in San Antonio for REEL NOTE FILM FESTIVAL 1on January 1st 2016.
Soon after this, Adam went on Good Day Sacramento to talk about his film.
Adam is currently working on another film called ‘Fantasy Girl’, about a young couple living on the streets.
Divine will continue to bring the news as Adam’s projects progress. We hope you’re enjoying them as much as we are.
