About the Author
Often referred to as "Space Cowboy" and "Gangsta of Love" while still striving for the moniker of "Maurice," Sean Michael spends his days surfing, smutting, organizing his immense gourd collection and fantasizing about one day retiring on a small secluded island peopled entirely by horseshoe crabs. While collecting vast amounts of vintage gay pulp novels and mood rings, Sean whiles away the hours between dropping the f-bomb and pursuing the Kama Sutra by channeling the long-lost spirit of John Wayne and singing along with the soundtrack to Chicago. A long-time writer of complicated haiku, Sean is currently attempting to learn the advanced arts of plate-spinning and soap-carving sex toys. Barring any of that? He'll stick with writing his stories, thanks, and rubbing pretty bodies together to see if they spark.

Abandoned by his partner in the wilds of Alaska, single gay dad Peter Boone is at the end of his rope. He has screaming twin babies to care for and far too much time without adult companionship. To make matters worse, Alaska’s harsh and gloomy winter is about to close in on him, his twins, and their small, rundown cabin.

Not For Me
(Updated: November 01, 2015)
Overall

3.0

Ugh, I hate doing this, but I knew from the first paragraph I was going to hate this book, and I did. The characters were too syrupy sweet. Too perfect. Just, there was no excitement! Nothing happened. Babies, sex, more babies, more sex. Snow, colds, more babies and of course more sex!

Sometimes insta love works. Here, not so much. This book moved WAY too fast, there was no build up and no character development. To be honest, and I NEVER say this about a book, it was WAY too long. There was no tension, no angst. I was bored out of my mind. I only finished it, because I agreed to read it in exchange for an honest review. If I would have purchased this book, it would have more than likely ended up in my dnf shelf.

I know some people will disagree and love this book, but it wasn't for me.
